Dustin Parker,
Campaign Manager
Dustin Parker, of Bridgeville, a native Delawarean, graduated from the University of Delaware. Previously, Dustin worked in Senator Carper’s Georgetown office, and he has also worked on numerous local and statewide campaigns including John Carney’s campaign for governor. He currently serves as Vice-chair for the Democratic Party in Sussex County, and he participates in several community and volunteer organizations. Dustin will lead many of the campaign operations including the field program.
Larry Nagengast of Wilmington, a Delaware resident since 1972, has closely observed state government throughout his career as a writer and editor. A graduate of Fordham University, with a Master’s in Journalism from Northwestern University, he served as a Navy officer during the Vietnam era. Larry will direct the campaign’s planning and strategy.
Taryn Halverson of Hockessin, a native Delawarean, graduated from A. I. DuPont High School and the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Taryn has managed the finances of The Flowers Counsel Group, LLC, a Delaware based law firm. Previously, Taryn worked with a variety of organizations including the MBNA Foundation, which provided grants to public schools in Delaware. Taryn will manage the campaign’s finances and serve as the point of contact for financial contributions.
Omar Masood, of Wilmington, came to Delaware in 2006 and holds a law degree from the Widener University School of Law in Wilmington and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Kean University. Previously he worked on the Corzine for Governor campaign. He currently serves as the Treasurer for the Delaware Young Democrats. On the campaign Omar assists with scheduling, events coordination and policy development.
